Please meet Mochi! This shy but sweet lady finds herself in need of a new home. She has received a clean bill of health from our vet, is spayed and microchipped, and has her bags packed and ready to go! Please read on for her story, and to find out how to add her to your family! Here is what we know about MOCHI: - Mochi is a 2 year old Russian blue who weighs @ 12lbs. We think she may be mixed with Maine coon due to her size. - Mochi is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health. - Mochi and her kitty pal Kimchi lived together in their prior home but were recently surrendered to rescue because the family has encountered some unexpected health challenges and can no longer give them the care and attention they deserve. Both girls had a great first few years of life, and are currently doing really well in foster care while awaiting their new homes. Both would happily be adopted either together or separately. - Foster mom reports that Mochi is shy at first but affectionate once she warms up. - Mochi has shared a home with other cats - we think she would do just fine with other kitty companions, or as the only cat. - Mochi has been indirectly exposed to dogs. We think she would do fine with a dog savvy cat who wouldn't chase or scare her. Mochi is more timid and a rambunctious dog would definitely send her into hiding. - There were young kids in Mochi's first home, so we think kiddos who know how to respect kitty boundaries would be perfectly okay.
