Bubba, a large mixed-breed Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier, is an adult neutered male in Holly Springs, NC. He’s house trained and current on vaccinations. Bubba is playful and affectionate, and while he needs ongoing care for heartworm and a heart murmur, he’s thriving in his foster home and looking for a family to call his own.

About Bubba

Bubba was picked up as a stray and waited for someone to come for him at a crowded shelter, but no one showed. Pawfect Match Rescue stepped in, got him neutered, and placed him in a foster home where he's proven to be a sweet, affectionate, genuinely good dog. Bubba gets along well with large male dogs and has shown playful curiosity despite being a senior, estimated at 7-8 years old come 2026. Bubba is starting a new chapter after a rough start—he’s heartworm positive but already getting treatment, and also has a heart murmur for which he takes medication. With proper care, he’s expected to have good years ahead and makes it clear he just wants to belong and be loved. He’s ready for a stable, loving family to offer him the comfort and happiness he’s been missing. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
