About Lupin
Adorable Lupin is a 6-month-old Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix who started his life in Amarillo, Texas after being abandoned in a field. Now safe and thriving in foster care, he charms everyone with his expressive eyes, silky long black coat, and delightfully awkward puppy antics. Lupin may need a bit of time to feel comfortable with new people or situations, but his gentle curiosity shines through once he settles in. When he's ready, all he wants is to make friends—human and canine alike. Lupin especially adores kids and will happily spend hours playing, getting petted, and making everyone laugh. This playful pup burns off his puppy energy chasing squeaky toys and tennis balls, wrestling with his foster sister, or romping in the yard. He is food motivated and is picking up commands like "sit" and "come" quickly. Though still learning, he's already crate trained, house trained, uses the dog door, and is improving on the leash. After a big outing, he loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with his head on a pillow. Lupin would be happiest in a home with another dog or an engaged family who can help build his confidence and share in his adventures. Visits to adopt Lupin must be in Colorado.
