About Smokey
Meet Smokey, a fluff-filled, 30-pound love magnet who wants nothing more than to be right by your side—on the couch, in bed, anywhere you are. He’s a world-class snuggler with an irresistible head-bonk greeting. Despite his love for affection, Smokey knows how to respect your space and can relax quietly next to you without a fuss. Some perks of living with Smokey: he's nearly silent, only rarely heard barking. He sleeps through the night in his crate, walks well on a leash, and is fully house trained. Smokey already knows several commands—sit, shake, come, leave it, and even cuddle! He keeps himself busy with bones, food puzzles, and toys, and he gets along well with other dogs, always eager to befriend new ones. Smokey does have one quirk—car rides make him drool excessively, but he and his foster are working on it. He flourishes in a home where he’s not left alone for long and would be happiest with another dog or a dedicated human around often. His adaptability shines, and with time, he can adjust to different household rhythms. Quick to match your mood and even quicker to show love, Smokey will be a wonderful addition to any family.
