Rock Star is a young Aussie/Husky mix who’s looking for stability and a new start. She’s had a tough beginning but is eager for daily walks, playtime with other dogs, and a cozy spot to call her own. This medium-sized girl loves treats, belly rubs, and the joy of earning your trust. At about a year old, Rock Star gets along well with other dogs. If you have cats or kids at home, the team can advise on careful introductions. She’s currently in Puerto Rico and hoping for a foster or adopter to bring her to Washington, DC. Rock Star tested positive for heartworm, but treatment will be provided; she’ll need some quiet downtime during recovery but will be able to lead a full, active life after. She’s spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Housebreaking and crate training are in progress—she’ll need your patience, support, and understanding as she fully adjusts.
