Meet Yakko! Yakko is a friendly, affectionate 7-month-old pup weighing 28 pounds, with plenty of growing left to do — he could reach around 44 pounds full grown! This handsome boy with a floofy brown coat has been sweet with all staff and volunteers! Yakko enjoys exploring outside, sniffing around, and spending time with his humans more than playing with toys. He LOVES being pet, often asking for more attention when pets stop. He has also done well meeting other pups in the shelter!. If you have a doggo at home, be sure to bring them to the shelter for a visit with yakko. With his loving personality and happy energy, Yakko is ready to find the perfect family to grow up with! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
