About Slim Jim
Slim Jim’s journey began on a busy road, and thanks to a caring police officer, he found a safe place to land. Underweight and unsure at first, Slim Jim has slowly started to trust, showing just how gentle and loving he can be. His soft, quiet presence fills a room, and he wants nothing more than to cuddle up close with his people—cuddles truly are his currency. Out on walks, Slim Jim is easy to lead and calmly enjoys his surroundings. He’s content to stroll, sniff, and share quiet moments rather than hustle or bark for attention. So far, Slim Jim has been more comfortable with people than other dogs, and his personality is still unfolding as he settles in. He’s currently being treated for heartworms but is handling it all with patience and his easygoing character. He’s up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and soon to be neutered. If you’re seeking a mellow, loyal companion who wants nothing more than a peaceful home where he can feel safe and adored, Slim Jim is waiting for you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
