AvailableAbout Brandy
Brandy is an Anatolian Shepherd puppy born around the middle of March, and despite being an actual baby, she has somehow already mastered the ancient and elusive art of Having Excellent Energy. Not "puppy energy." Excellent energy. She and her sister were recently awarded the title of "the chillest puppies I've ever met" by their foster, which honestly feels understated. These girls aren't normal puppy-level calm. They're like tiny furry wellness retreats with paws. Brandy does play, of course. She has joyful little puppy moments. She frolics. She investigates leaves with academic curiosity. She occasionally gets the zoomies for approximately twelve seconds. But unlike most puppies, who behave like they're trying to outrun an invisible prophecy, Brandy possesses a level of inner peace usually reserved for monks and women who own very expensive candles. And the sweetness? Astronomical. This girl is deeply affectionate in that soft, soul-healing kind of way where she curls up beside you like she has known you across multiple lifetimes. She's cuddly without being chaotic about it. No frantic flailing. No dramatic nonsense. Just pure, gentle baby love with incredible customer service. She's also incredibly smart and already doing a fantastic job with potty training. Truly impressive behavior from someone whose age technically still qualifies her for saying "goo goo ga ga." She is handling outdoor bathroom duties with the focus and professionalism of a suburban dad monitoring a grill. Brandy is playful but peaceful, loving but mellow, and so emotionally pleasant to be around that she feels less like a puppy and more like a reward someone receives after surviving a difficult chapter in a novel. Some dogs create chaos. Brandy creates atmosphere. And frankly? The atmosphere is immaculate. Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as our website, Chewy, Pet Finder, and others. These are in no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed. ***Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures.
