About Sagey
Meet Sagey, a Doberman and German Shepherd mix with a good-natured personality and a penchant for pulling on the leash. Sagey came from a local home that could no longer provide for her, so she's looking for a second chance. She's not a fit for households with cats, small critters, or even small dogs, as her prey drive is strong and she can't always tell the difference. An experienced owner with a secure fenced yard who can supervise her closely is essential. Sagey is good with people and behaved well at the vet during her spay surgery. She's about 3 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Sagey is currently around 20 pounds overweight, so she'll benefit from regular exercise, which could also help with her prey drive issues. She knows some leash basics but will need continued work to make walks enjoyable for both of you. Her adoption fee is partially sponsored. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Sagey
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Sagey's mix of Doberman Pinscher and German Shepherd Dog makes her best suited to a home with a secure yard, ideally in a suburban or rural environment where she can have space to move and be supervised regularly.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
As a Doberman/German Shepherd mix, Sagey will need a significant amount of outdoor space, such as a fenced yard, to burn off her energy and stay engaged.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Both Doberman Pinschers and German Shepherd Dogs can be good with older children when well-socialized, but Sagey would do best in a home that can supervise interactions, given her strong prey drive.
