About Ellie

Meet Ellie, a sweet Shih Tzu who is approximately 11-13 years old and ready for a loving home to spend her golden years. This gentle senior has had her share of medical care throughout life, including surgery for an eye injury and a dental cleaning, but she continues to shine. Ellie enjoys a slower pace, making her an ideal companion for those seeking a calm, easygoing dog. She loves lounging next to her human on the couch and rolling in the grass during her occasional bursts of playful energy. Despite her past challenges, Ellie gets along well with dogs and is also friendly with cats. Her previous owner adored her, and it’s clear she has a lot of love to give in return. Ellie is house trained and looking for a kind-hearted individual who can provide her the comfort and companionship she deserves. She will have a vet check and updated vaccinations soon, and she becomes available for adoption on July 2nd. If you want to make her remaining years bright, Ellie awaits your application!
