Meet Boone! Boone is a 6-year-old Shepherd mix weighing about 50 pounds with a sweet personality and a love for the outdoors. Boone came to us after being found as a stray, and he quickly showed us what a wonderful dog he is. He is friendly, affectionate, and incredibly food motivated, which makes earning his trust pretty easy! He loves spending time outside, enjoys walks to the play yard, and every now and then will break out into the cutest zoomies. Once Boone decides you’re his person, he is all about belly rubs and soaking up attention from his favorite people. Boone appears to do well with other dogs. We are still unsure how he does with cats. Because of his size and energy, he would likely do best in a home with older children who are comfortable around dogs. Boone is looking for a family who will give him the love, stability, and companionship he deserves.
