Right now she is decompressing in a loving foster home and doing great. Her foster family says she is slowly starting to come out of her shell and it has been so rewarding to watch. She is consistently eating dry kibble now and has finally discovered that snacks are pretty amazing — which means they can start working on some simple training. This past weekend Tilly got a little time to run around, although they kept things calm and slow for her while she adjusts. Her foster mom thinks she finally trusts her enough for a bath, so that adventure may be happening soon too! One of the sweetest things about Tilly is how she experiences everything like it’s the very first time. She isn’t anxious — just curious, exploring and discovering the world around her. It’s incredibly adorable watching her little personality start to peek out from under all that wiry fluff. Her foster says this photo was about all the posing Tilly was willing to tolerate... although she may have been far more excited than Tilly was. Tilly continues to settle into the chaos of everyday life and is making wonderful progress. We can’t wait to watch her confidence grow and eventually find the forever home she deserves.
