Adele
AvailableAdele is a black and white Standard Poodle found in Huntley, IL. She is an adult female with a short coat and weighs about 35lbs. Adele is not spayed and is not yet house trained. Her life began in a kennel, so she is still learning about home life. She’ll need a patient, understanding adopter to guide her.
About Adele
Adele has spent the first four years of her life in a kennel as a breeder release, having raised several litters and missing out on the comforts most dogs take for granted. Her world was limited, so things like soft beds, blankets, and couches are entirely new experiences for her. Physically, she’s a Phantom-colored Standard Poodle and currently quite thin—she weighs about 35lbs, and eating is a gradual process for her right now. Calm and sweet-natured, Adele needs time and patience to build trust; she isn’t the kind of dog who’s immediately outgoing, but she does warm up once she knows you mean her no harm. Because of her background, Adele is not recommended for homes with small children, and she cannot live with cats. She might do well with other dogs, depending on their personalities. This isn’t a dog for someone who just wants a purebred; Adele needs someone willing to help her relearn how to be a dog and show her what a real family can be. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
