Skye is a five-year-old Husky with the most stunning crystal blue eyes you've ever seen. In addition to being beautiful, she's a perfect medium-sized ball of joy, wrapped up in a 45lb black, grey, and white package. This happy-go-lucky girl is house-trained, quickly learning crate training because she loves treats as a reward for going in, and she already walks wonderfully on a leash. She also knows commands like sit and kennel, and is promptly catching on to coming when you call her name. Did we mention that she's also learning to wait? Is there anything this girl isn't willing to try to make you happy? Not only is Skye super smart and a fast learner, but she's also got just the right amount of energy to brighten your day-not too much and not too little. She LOVES to spend time playing with the resident dogs in her foster home, running around the back yard and chomping on toys inside. Because of this, we think she would likely be happiest in a home with another active dog. She equally loves attention from humans, though, whether that's snuggling or just getting pets. Skye is the kind of girl who's always up for making your day better and wants to be the K9 companion you've dreamed of. Although she has not attempted to jump any fences, she will likely need a 5-6-foot fence to avoid unplanned Husky adventures.
