Sandy came from the same large rescue situation where an older veteran had taken in far too many dogs while simply trying to help them. When help arrived, Sandy was found huddled together in a pen with several other dogs, patiently waiting for someone to notice her. Despite everything, Sandy has remained incredibly loving and trusting. She appears to be around 2–3 years old, weighs about 35 pounds, and is wonderfully healthy with gorgeous coloring that makes her even more special. She gets along great with other dogs, does well with kids, and has a gentle, kind personality that makes people fall in love with her quickly. Sandy is one of the lucky ones — now safe in rescue and ready to start a brand-new life. After all she’s been through, we are determined to find her a forever home where she will always be cherished, protected, and loved for the rest of her life.
