About Phil

Phil is a warm, lively pup who’s made a strong start in a loving foster home alongside his brother. He’s already crate trained, and it’s clear he’s smart—no house accidents so far. Leash walking is still in progress, but he’s picking it up a bit more every day. Like any young dog, Phil is working on his puppy manners. He barks at new people and dogs, and he’s got a big appetite for chewing, so expect to stock up on sturdy toys and keep a watchful eye on what he gnaws. Bring out the food bowl and you’ll see him light up. He gets along well with his foster’s three senior dogs, although he sometimes brings more rowdy energy than they’d like, so playtime needs some supervision. Phil hasn’t met children yet, but his foster thinks he could do well with them. Vaccinations are up to date, with two more rounds to go, and he’ll be neutered when he’s old enough. Phil is ready for a home that can continue to help him learn and grow into a loyal companion. He’s in Ladonia, TX, but transport can be arranged (included in the fee).
