Meet Zelda! Zelda is a 6 year old long-haired Chihuahua mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This adorable girl is very easygoing and incredibly friendly, but compared to Abby, Zelda has a bit more spunk and enjoys being more involved in everyday adventures. Zelda loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and truly has such a happy, lovable personality. She would enjoy a home where she can tag along for outings, enjoy some fresh air, and spend lots of time with her family. She’s still very chill and relaxed overall, but she definitely has a little more pep in her step. Zelda is currently quite overweight and will need a family committed to helping her continue working toward a healthier weight. She is around 12-13 pounds and should be more like 8-10 pounds. She is very food motivated, which makes her easy to encourage and work with, and with some consistency and gentle exercise, she will thrive. She is house trained, wonderfully mannered, and overall just a fantastic little dog to have around. Zelda is the type of companion who adjusts easily and quickly becomes part of the family. Zelda can be adopted together with Abby or separately. While they enjoy each other’s company, they are not bonded and are both perfectly capable of thriving apart as well.
