About Enchilada
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Enchilada! Enchilada is a petite, gentle girl with a warm, sensitive spirit and an even softer heart. At about 2 years old and weighing just 15 pounds, she’s a little companion happiest when close to her people. She came into rescue with Burrito after living in challenging conditions. Upon arrival, she was suffering from a severe flea infestation that caused significant hair loss. With proper care and lots of love, her short coat is growing back beautifully—and so is her confidence. Enchilada may be timid at first and can bark when she’s unsure, but she is not a bite risk; she’s simply a sensitive girl learning to feel safe in new situations. With patience and understanding, she transforms into an incredibly affectionate, devoted companion who delights in curling up in a lap and staying nearby. A calm, quieter home where she can continue to build confidence would suit her best. She thrives in households where someone is home often, as she bonds closely with people. Enchilada is crate trained, sleeps well through the night, and is progressing well with her outdoor potty routine. Now in a foster home with several other dogs, she has been friendly and comfortable with everyone she’s met. She is current on vaccinations, spayed, and will receive a health certificate. Enchilada has made incredible progress and is ready for a forever home that will provide the love, patience, and security she’s been longing for. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
