Meet beautiful Francine. She is a 5-year-old tortoiseshell queen with a big personality and an even bigger heart. 🧡🖤 Francine likes to make a dramatic first impression. For the first 3–4 weeks in a new home, she may strut around acting tough and letting everyone know she’s in charge. Don’t be fooled, underneath all that sass is an incredibly affectionate and loyal companion who is simply taking her time deciding if you’re worthy of her trust. Once you pass Francine’s “testing period,” you’ll discover a cat who absolutely adores her humans. Her favorite place to be? Curled up under the covers right beside you. Francine is a professional snuggler and loves to sleep tucked in close to her person at night. Humans are truly her favorite thing in the world. Francine does well with small dogs or calm cats who respect her space and boundaries. She is not interested in rowdy children or animals constantly in her personal bubble. She prefers peaceful companionship over chaos. Francine is declawed and has a unique play style. She loves to play using her mouth. She is not aggressive, but her playful nibbling and dramatic personality could easily intimidate a small child who isn’t familiar with this cat behavior. Because of this, Francine would thrive best in an adult home or one with older, cat-savvy older children.
