Rescued from a cramped home with dozens of other cats, he spent early days tucked away in a kitchen cabinet, rarely seeing a kind hand. Now, safe in foster care, he's made remarkable progress—he seeks out pets with soft head butts and will nuzzle your palm for more. He never demands, preferring to quietly enjoy your company curled up beside you as you read or work. Smokey’s all black except for a single foot dipped in white, as if he stepped in paint. He’s easy to have around, friendly with other cats, and likely to adapt well to a calm dog after some patient introductions.
