Meet Grand! This sweet senior girl is about 8–9 years old and weighs around 45 lbs — the perfect size for cuddles and companionship. She came to us as a stray, and heartbreakingly, no one ever came looking for her. After a lifetime of loyalty, she now finds herself alone in a kennel — and that’s no place for a dog like her to spend her golden years. Grand recently had a lump removed that turned out to be a low-grade cancer. The vets were able to remove it all, and right now she is healthy, playful, and so full of love. There is always a chance it could return, but Grand doesn’t know that — she only knows how to wag her tail, soak up belly rubs, and brighten every volunteer’s day. She has given the world nothing but love, and she deserves to spend whatever years she has left surrounded by comfort, family, and a warm place to call home. Please, open your heart to Grand.
