Meet Gates! He is a very friendly boy who loves to rub all over you to make sure you know he's there! He loves to show off his cute voice by purring up a storm, and wants you to know he has a lot to say! He is going to take some time adjusting into a new environment, and would recommend a slow introduction with other animals in the home. He has lived with other cats in the past, and may benefit from having another feline friend around to show him around town. If you are looking to bring this shy guy home and allow him to slowly let his personality shine, Gates is the guy for you! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
