Mika came out of some pretty rough beginnings, rescued from filthy neglect along with her sister. She’s left all that behind and now soaks up safety, care, and comfort as if she’s always known them. At about 18 months old and weighing 52 pounds, this Aussie/Hound mix brings a gentle, calm presence wherever she goes. Mika doesn't hold a grudge; instead, she comes across as quietly affectionate, happily following the lead of a loving household. She thrives on calm company and loves being around kids—she really just wants to be close to people who treat her kindly. While toys still puzzle her, snacks do not; training comes easy since food is a major motivator. Mika responds to her name, listens well, and fits right in with families who prefer an easygoing dog that loves a cuddle and rewards patience. She’s ready for a life with consistent routines and plenty of affection.
