About Ollie
Ollie is a ten-year-old Beagle with a love of life that shines through everything he does. Despite spending years tethered outside with his friend Hank, Ollie walks right into house training and picks up new commands in no time. He's eager to meet other dogs, though you'll want to feed him separately—old habits stick, and he deserves never to worry about food again. No one yet knows how he'll do with children or cats, but he's got an open mind and gentle spirit. Ollie takes medication twice daily to prevent seizures caused by epilepsy, but he eats his pills without fuss and has stayed seizure-free. His medication, phenobarbital, is affordable. After his neuter surgery, a testicular tumor was found, but the outlook remains positive. The procedure may well have been curative, and Ollie hasn't let any of it slow him down—he's thriving, charging through his golden years with the playfulness of a young pup. A home with plenty of toys would make him happiest of all. Any questions about his medical needs can be directed to the SPCA of Hancock County. Ollie is here, ready to start his next chapter.
