She came to us from BARC, a shelter that euthanizes dogs regularly, where her mom had already been put down and Wanda herself was on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, Sunnyside Rescue stepped in just in time and pulled her and her siblings to safety. Now in foster care, Wanda is blossoming into the sweetest soul. She is hands-down the calmest, most easygoing puppy we’ve ever fostered, and that’s saying something. She’s confident in new situations, endlessly curious about the world around her, and a total snuggle bug who actively seeks out affection from her people. Wanda is fully potty trained and currently working on her leash skills, which she’s picking up quickly. She lives with a toddler and another dog, and she’s an absolute gem with both. Our crazy, full-throttle toddler adores her, and Wanda matches his energy with remarkable patience and gentleness. She gets along beautifully with our resident dog too. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
