About Vinnie: So Handsome And
Vinnie had a rough start growing up with his 10 siblings in a backyard in Puerto Rico, without the usual guidance puppies need. He never suffered abuse or overt neglect, but missed out on early social structure. When he first entered rescue, Vinnie was shy and especially unsure around men. After a brief adoption that didn’t provide the consistent training and patience he needed, he came back to the rescue. Since then, he’s come out of his shell and has been thriving in Tampa with a skilled trainer helping him build confidence and trust. Vinnie loves other dogs and is growing more comfortable meeting new people. He enjoys the beach and gains confidence every single day. He shares the intelligence, sensitivity, and loyalty typical of a Catahoula Leopard Dog, and forms deep bonds once he learns to trust. Vinnie thrives with structure, leadership, and patient affection. This boy would do best with a loving, patient family who understands shy dogs and can continue his journey toward becoming a truly great companion. Vinnie gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. He’s house trained, neutered, vaccinated, and available for meet and greets in Lake Forest, IL. Give him the stability and encouragement he needs, and he’ll reward you with a strong, loyal connection. Your new best friend is just one click away.
