Because of this, she can be a bit shy when meeting new people. The way to Flora's heart is through lots of positive interactions, gentle encouragement, and patience while she warms up to you. She will need to be kept in a small, quiet room at first as she settles into her new home and should be allowed to go at her own pace. Flora would do best in a home with children who are 8 years or older and able to understand her need for a calm, respectful environment. It is required that Flora be adopted with one of her littermates or go to a home that already has a friendly, cat-social resident cat to help her build confidence and feel secure.
