Maggi is a young adult mixed breed girl with a heart of gold and a mystery breed mix that keeps everyone guessing. Poodle mix? Great Pyrenees mix? Retriever mix? We may never know for sure, but whatever combination created Maggi also created an incredibly sweet dog. Before entering our program, Maggi was found as a stray and taken to a shelter. When we pulled her, she was covered in fleas and ticks and clearly had not had an easy start. Despite that, she has proven to have a truly wonderful temperament. Maggi is affectionate, friendly, and incredibly people-oriented. She is excellent with kids and has done wonderfully in her foster home with both dogs and cats. She loves being near her people and is the kind of dog who greets you with happy affection and little hugs. While she does like to stand up to say hello, she is not excessively jumpy or overly rambunctious. She has adjusted beautifully to home life and continues to show what a gentle, loving companion she is. Maggi is now looking for a forever family who will give her the stability, care, and love she deserves after life as a stray.
