In the Irish language, Rune (rún) means intention, resolution, and love. She just might be the perfect companion to bring these things into your life! She has completed her training and healthcare so she is ready to go to a good home. Rune is a one in a million puppy: calm, quiet, goofy, and so gorgeous. She is very expressive and her eyebrows tell you everything she needs to say. This little lady is 7 months old and a dainty 45lbs mix. We do not expect her to get much bigger. Our best guess is a Golden/Shepherd mix because of her coloration and curly coat. Rune is great with dogs, and loves any opportunity to spend time at the dog park to romp around. She hasn't met kids, but is very friendly with everyone she meets. She is also respectful of the resident cat, and listens when the cat hisses to set his boundaries Her favorite activities are wrestling with her foster brother, napping on the patio, practicing her training, and spending time at the dog park. When at home she is quiet and relaxed, and does not bark. She loves her people as much as her puppy friends and would love a good couch snuggle after you've had a long day. Her coat is so soft and is maintained with a few swipes of a slicker brush a few times per week (don't forget behind the ears), so her shedding is medium. Fruits and veggies beware! This little lady loves her healthy snacks like apples, carrots, and bell peppers. She makes the cutest crunches when she eats them. She is very food motivated so training her is very easy! Rune is very close to completing her leash training, but she is kennel trained, and likes to take breaks in her kennel while others eat. She will steal bites from her foster brother, so she is fed separately or practices her Stay while others eat. She is also potty trained and knows sit/down, back up, stay, leave it, and shows promising recall and heel. She is currently working on loose leash walking and down/off. Rune is approved for training at Zoom Room Plymouth, adopters that are willing to sign her up for further training will have preferential treatment. She is registered at Downtown Dogs for daycare, and at Unleashed Brewery - she loves an adventure and any opportunity to spend time with people. She is spayed and fully vaccinated as well. Owner requirements: -Fully fenced yard, non negotiable, this is her special space. -Daily exercise plan. -Pre-adoption meet and greet with all humans and dogs of new home attending.
