Cortado is a 3-year-old poodle mix weighing 7 lbs, with a gentle, sensitive personality. He enjoys spending time with other dogs and continues to build confidence through positive social interactions and group play, where he is learning appropriate social cues. Cortado will do best in a home with another confident dog to help guide him and provide reassurance as he adjusts. He is still learning to trust people and will need a committed adopter who is willing to go slow, build a strong bond, and help him feel safe through consistent, positive experiences. Cortado can be a little sensitive with handling right now as he learns that people can be safe and predictable. He will do best with a calm, patient adopter-ideally someone experienced with shy or undersocialized dogs-who understands the importance of respecting his boundaries and moving at his pace. Cortado will need a securely fenced-in yard to safely explore and continue building confidence. He will also need to go home with a secure, properly fitted harness to support safe leash handling as he learns.
