About Skipper Missouri Mr

Meet Skipper - The Little Guy Learning How Wonderful Life Can Be Skipper is a four-year-old Mini Poodle who has absolutely blossomed over the past few weeks, and watching his transformation has been something truly special. The shy little dog who once wasn't sure about the world is now discovering just how good life can be-and he is soaking it all in. These days, Skipper is very friendly and loves nothing more than a really good butt scratch. In fact, he'll twist and spin around like a little sidewinder trying to make sure you find exactly the right spot. It's one of his funniest and most endearing quirks, and it perfectly captures the joyful personality that's beginning to shine through. He's become wonderfully patient about being picked up and now seeks out attention and affection, making up for all the love he missed before. Skipper loves running around, exploring, and enjoying every bit of his new life. He's even started discovering a little playful mischief, showing off the tiny sparks of personality that were just waiting to emerge. While he's come such a long way, Skipper will still do best in a calm home with patient adopters who will continue allowing him to grow at his own pace. He loves other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine companion to help guide him. Skipper is ready now. Ready to be loved, ready to keep growing, and ready to finally have a home of his very own. Available for adoption at our Dogsville location in Humansville, MO Apply to adopt at www.nmdr.org (select Missouri) ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
