Dog's Name: Babe Hamilton (HAM0526ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Hound mix Approximate Age: 9 weeks Approximate Weight: 11.10 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi there, I'm Babe Hamilton! I'm one of four adorable pups (Babe Aaron, Babe Hamilton, Babe Thomas, and Babe George) who somehow ended up in a very full shelter in Alabama. It was a scary place for little guys like us, but luckily the wonderful humans at K-9 Lifesavers scooped us up and gave us the second chance we deserve. They say I'm a real Heinz 57 mix, which basically means I'm one-of-a-kind and extra handsome (I think that's a pretty great combo). Even though I had a bit of a rough start, I'm a happy, playful puppy who loves making friends and having fun. I'm well socialized and pretty much your typical sweet pup — curious, cuddly, and always ready for an adventure. I'm also at the perfect age to learn all the important puppy things. With a little training, some patience, and lots of love, I promise I'll grow into an amazing companion. If your life could use wet nose kisses, happy tail wags, and plenty of enthusiastic butt wiggles, then I might just be the pup for you. Apply today and come meet your new best buddy — me, Babe Hamilton! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
