About Cherry & Bailey
Cherry and Bailey are a closely bonded pair of black Labrador Retrievers looking for a home together in Elkton, MD. Cherry, the five-year-old leader, weighs in at 62 lbs, while younger Bailey is just two but a bit larger at 75 lbs. Both are spayed, healthy, and up to date on flea and tick prevention. They are bright, friendly, and thrive on people’s attention—just expect enthusiastic greetings and a lot of affection. While they absolutely love adults and older kids, small children may get knocked over in their excitement as they’re still learning about personal space. Cherry and Bailey have done well with other dogs of all sizes and ages in their foster home—think easy group play, lots of sharing, and zero drama with food or toys. They’re fully house and crate trained, and even share crates sometimes, although separate crates seem to be best for sleeping. Energy-wise, they strike a nice balance: active enough for long games of fetch and squeaky toys in the yard, but relaxed once playtime’s over. They ride quietly in the car and walk calmly on leash (double-leashed even), though they still need reminders about where to stand. A fenced yard is strongly preferred for their safety and enjoyment. The girls stick together, eat together, and happily entertain each other. If you’re looking for a joyful, low-key duo who already get along with other dogs and will bring a lot of companionship, Cherry and Bailey will fit right in. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
