About Jazz

Jazz is a mellow, sweet terrier/Lab mix who prefers curling up for snuggles over being the center of attention. At just 1.5 years and around 25 lbs, he’s easy to live with—super chill most of the time, but the occasional short-lived zoomies bring out his playful side. He gets along easily with people, kids, and other dogs, and has never shown aggression. Jazz is house trained and crate trained, and he travels well in the car. His leash skills are a work in progress; he’s still nervous, so patience and support will help him find his stride on walks. He does best in a fenced yard where he's safe to explore and burn off a little energy. Indoors, he likes to keep a few toys in his bed but doesn’t pick favorites. Jazz doesn’t seek out kisses, but he’s always up for a cuddle. He’s currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, so he needs a calm, loving home to keep him comfortable while he recovers.
