Clementine's story starts in a place no dog deserves. She was born to backyardbreeding parents, raised not for love or companionship, but for profit. Her entire purpose, in the eyes of the people who owned her, was to produce litter after litter. No family. No affection. No real connection. When she came into our care, we made sure she would never be used like that again. She was spayed, given a clean slate, and finally shown what kindness feels like. And when her former owner walked in afterward and said, “Well, she is no use to me now,” it only confirmed what we already knew — Clementine deserved far better. And oh, does she shine now.
