About Coby
Coby is a big, sweet goofball looking for a quiet, child-free home where he can sprawl out for naps and show off his favorite toys. This six-year-old neutered male Pit Bull Terrier loves car rides, sunbathing in summer, cozy naps in winter, and lounging by your feet with a toy in his mouth. Coby's energy is pretty manageable: he enjoys one or two walks a day and settles in quickly for a long rest afterward. He is housetrained and crate trained, and has zero separation anxiety, making him a pretty low maintenance companion. Coby's best as the only dog in the house—he gets along with other dogs on leash outdoors, but not when off leash or at home, and he's frightened by small, yappy dogs. Cats and small animals are a no-go due to his prey drive. He's also not suited for homes with children, so adults only please. While he’s generally polite and quiet, Coby will greet guests and returning family with a happy "woo woo" and a wagging tail. He knows many commands and picks up on routines quickly. Medical-wise, he takes a nightly Apoquel pill for his skin allergies and had successful knee surgery in the past; you might notice a bit of a unique gait, but he manages just fine. Coby is loyal, silly, and loves to cuddle, making the right home with just adults—and no other animals—a perfect fit for him. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
