So far she has done great in her foster home! We have not been able to get a lot of leash work done with Josie, so she will need to continue to work on leash walking. She also needs to learn all basic commands. This is a nice dog for an active family. Once she is walking on the leash, she will enjoy going on adventures, hikes, and walks around the neighborhood! All HEART dogs have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies, bordatella, distemper, parvo, adenovirus, and hepatitis. All are tested for heartworms and, if they test positive, have either been treated or provided alternative slow-kill treatment. Dogs are provided monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Dogs are also provided additional medical care, as needed. This care may include amputations, wound repair, treatment for skin disorders, dental care, treatment for infection and other medical needs
