Hello, my name is Oberon. I came to Good Home when a trusted rescuer scooped me off the streets of East New York and gave me a cozy bed and tasty food. Now I live in the Cat Lounge and everyday is a new adventure with my feline playmates, yummy treats, and new human friends! I'm eager to learn about the world. I need some time to warm up and I like my independence, but I'm getting more and more curious about humans. When humans visit the Cat Lounge and give me a Churu (my favorite!) I'm not afraid to get up close and ask for more. I'm such a charmer and I'm getting braver every single day! I have good-natured kitten energy. While I'm still getting used to human friends, I've recently discovered how nice pats and scratches can be. And when I feel relaxed and have a belly full of treats, I love curling up in a cozy bed or inside my "tiny house." When I'm not snacking, socializing, or snoozing, I enjoy chasing ball and mouse toys around the room or rolling around with my sister Cannoli. I enjoy my sister's company and would love to go to a home with her, but I could certainly go alone as long as I have a cat friend to cuddle and play with. I'm most confident when I have a feline friend! I would be happiest in a quiet to moderately active home with patient, gentle people. I have a lot of love to give, I just need some time to get brave! I haven't lived with a dog so I'm not sure if I'd like that, but I have lived with a child before and while I was very polite, I'd probably do better in a home without young, active kids. That being said, I would not be content as a single cat, I definitely need to live with a cat friend who complements my energy. I'd love a peaceful home that gives me space to let my spirited side shine while delighting in my friendly, inquisitive nature.
