About Oberon
Oberon landed at Good Home after being rescued from the streets of East New York. Now he lives in the Cat Lounge, chasing toys, sampling treats, and figuring out where he stands with people. Oberon has a playful, curious nature and a love for independence, but he’s steadily growing bolder with gentle human interaction—especially if Churu treats are involved. He’s learning to appreciate pats and scratches, and finds comfort curling up in beds or his "tiny house" when relaxed. He thrives around other cats and feels most confident with a feline friend, especially his sister Cannoli. Oberon does best in a quiet or moderately active home with patient people willing to give him time to settle in. Though he’s polite with children, he’s more comfortable without a lot of commotion. He isn’t suited to being a solo cat and really needs a cat playmate. Oberon would love a peaceful spot that gives him room to build trust and time to share his lively, charming spirit. He’s a Leo, and like many born under this sign, his boldness emerges with encouragement. Give him patience and you’ll get a cheerful companion who adds light kitten energy to your home.
