About Flannel
Flannel is a 6-year-old terrier mix with a big heart and a hunt for happiness. Picked up as a stray by the local police, he made his way to the Humane Society of Madison County after no one claimed him. Flannel bounced back remarkably from some initial hair loss and underweight troubles—he's now healthy, fully furred, and ready for his next adventure. This medium-sized, tricolor fellow is playful, especially when toys or puzzles are involved. Outdoors is where he really shines: he loves walks, running loose in a yard, and rolling in the grass for belly rubs. Flannel is sharp and treat-motivated, already mastering "sit" and "down," and he's always game for more training. He thrives on both mental and physical challenges, especially scent-driven outings and snuffle mats. He gets along with most other dogs after the proper introduction, but a meet and greet is suggested to ensure everyone meshes. Flannel is house trained and loves children, making him a smart fit for family life. He's looking for a home where he can keep building on the progress he's made so far.
