**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** With a head like a cinderblock, and an even wider grin, dogs like Pig Pen find their way into our program a bit differently than others. While two members of our street team were out on their route, Pig Pen noticed them and barreled his way right into their truck, INSISTING on getting off the streets right then and there!  With some unfortunate wounds on his ears(that are healing wonderfully), and in need of a few regained pounds, this is one big strong ball of absolute love. You're never going to have personal space with Pig Pen around, as he's firmly convinced he is 100% lapdog, nevermind his stature or 'scary dog privilege' When spotted, he was amongst a small pack of dogs, so while we've not yet tested him with residents, there's potential for him to get along with other dogs. Cats too are a mystery at this point, but we have the capability to cat-test for curious applicants.Already clocking in at 60lbs, and with 5 or so more to gain, this is one VERY strong boy who will need to master proper leash manners, and would benefit from an engaging household that is willing and able to keep him both mentally and physically engaged - he may be squishy, but there's a clever mind in that blockhead for certain! Pig Pen's name comes from the distinct odor his wounds and overall condition presented us, but rest easy - he's a wonderfully clean-smelling fella these days, who does well for his bath time!  While he's with us at our facility, he's proven to keep a spotless kennel, which gives us a very strong hunch he's either already understanding of housetraining, or will pick it up lickity-split!
