About Heart

This 8 mo old cat has been diagnosed with a healing fracture of the right femoral neck. At this time, the patient is comfortable with no significant lameness noted on exam, and the injury appears to be progressing appropriately in the healing process. Despite the current improvement, the fracture is not yet fully healed. Continued care is required to ensure proper recovery and to reduce the risk of re-injury or complications. She requires strict activity restriction for a minimum of 2 weeks. This includes confinement to a small, controlled space (e.g., kennel or small room) and avoidance of running, jumping, or rough play. Monitor for any signs of worsening lameness, pain, or decreased limb use. A veterinary recheck exam and follow-up radiographs in 2 weeks is recommended to assess healing progress. 05/03/26 11:02 Foster returned cat due to a URI ML 05/14/26 14:02 Timid girl that warms up quickly, sensitive to noise.
