About Shadow & Riley
Shadow and Riley are a beautiful brother-sister bonded pair who are searching for a patient and loving forever home where they can stay together. These two share a special connection and truly thrive in each other’s company, bringing out the best in one another every day. Shadow is a stunning black kitty with a unique story—he has only one eye, but it doesn’t slow him down in the slightest. He navigates the world with confidence, curiosity, and plenty of playful energy. His resilience is truly inspiring, and he doesn’t let anything get in the way of chasing toys or exploring his surroundings. Shadow has a gentle, sweet nature and he absolutely loves attention. Riley, his adorable sister, is a lovely Siamese mix with a soft, expressive face and a calm, gentle personality. She tends to take her cues from Shadow and finds comfort in his presence. Riley may be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience and a quiet environment, she blossoms into an affectionate companion who enjoys pets, attention, and playtime. Both Shadow and Riley may need a little time to adjust in a new home, but once they feel safe, they warm up quickly and will reward you with loud, happy purrs. They are playful, curious, and love interacting with toys—whether it’s chasing balls, batting at wand toys, or turning everyday objects into entertainment. Watching them play and bond with each other is truly heartwarming. If you’re looking to open your heart and home to a special pair who will bring double the love, double the purrs, and endless entertainment, Shadow and Riley are ready to meet you. -------------- Thank you for wanting to Adopt! Cat Welfare Advocates is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill organization based in San Jose, CA. We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat. By adopting a cat, you're making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the cat, which can be up to 20 years or more. E-mail us at info@catwelfareadvocates.org to request an adoption application. Don't forget to mention which kitty you are interested in!
