Hello, I'm Samwise Gamgee! I'm a sweet cat who enjoys being pet and being a couch potato. Though I can be shy from time to time, I do like to stay close to the members of my fellowship- particularly my brother, Frodo Baggins- I would follow him to the ends of the earth, and will always be there to protect him (even when I'm scared myself). We frequently wrestle or just take comfort in each other's company. There's nothing quite like the joy that comes a warm bed, good food, or a nice cardboard box. My foster had this to say about me: "He was a little timid at first and hid in dark, small spaces. But after just a few hours, he warmed up and started to explore! He really likes to lie between your legs and take a little rest. He's become very adventurous, and he's finding new spots each day to climb, hide, and play around in. Both both boys are very sweet and love to cuddle." ____________________________________________________________ Samwise has been treated for a urinary tract obstruction due to a bladder stone lodged in his urethra. He is currently on C/D as a treatment for any residual stones. The shelter recommends continuation of a preventative urinary health diet for life to help prevent additional stones from forming. A urinary track blockage is an emergency situation and can lead to death if not treated.
