Jared is a lovable boy with a spunky personality and a whole lot of charm packed into his 11-pound frame. This fun little guy came to ARF from a local shelter that was dangerously overcrowded and facing some very difficult decisions. Thankfully, Jared got the second chance he deserved — and now he’s ready to find a forever family to call his own. After arriving at rescue, Jared was unfortunately found to be heartworm positive. The good news is that he is currently undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery soon! Through it all, Jared has remained upbeat, affectionate, and full of life. Jared has the playful, curious personality that makes Jack Russell mixes so entertaining. He enjoys attention, likes to stay busy, and will keep you smiling with his silly antics and happy energy. Whether he’s exploring the yard, going for walks, or curling up after playtime, Jared is happiest simply being part of the action. This resilient little guy is looking for a family who will continue giving him the love and care he deserves as he finishes treatment and begins his new life.
