Initially Shippo can be shy, but once you've made friends she loves to sit in your lap and be pet. She'll even cry if you stop! Her previous owner says Shippo is fearful of other dogs, so she would prefer to be an only pup. Due to her sensitive nature, she would prefer a home without young children. Shippo will need some positive reinforcement training to learn to tolerate brushing. We gave her a good shave to remove her mats, but it will be important to keep up with short, gentle and patient brushing sessions to prevent reoccurrence.
