Say hello to Azalea, a young female hound mix waiting for her forever home in Lambertville, NJ. Azalea is about two years old and has the gentle, patient nature of a mama who’s weathered a lot. She came into rescue separated from her puppies, but continues to blossom with every passing day. Her coat is short and a lovely mix of reddish chestnut and chocolate brown—a perfect reflection of her warm, mellow personality. Azalea is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and started on monthly flea and tick preventatives to keep her healthy and comfortable. House training is a work in progress, but Azalea is eager to learn and settles into foster life with grace. Please note, the rescue does not adopt adult dogs like Azalea into homes with children under nine, prioritizing safety for both pet and family.
