Approximate date of birth: 1/18/2017 | Meet Simon! If he could talk, he'd have plenty of stories to tell. This nine-year-old community cat turned homeward-bound companion first caught a volunteer's eye at a feeding station. While the other cats focused on food, Simon would walk right up to her, demanding pets, rolling on the ground, and acting like the goofy, loveable boy he is—all he really wanted was attention. Fast-forward a few months, and Simon's playful, silly personality is shining brighter than ever. Now feeling much healthier, he's enjoying both dry food (pain-free!) and plenty of wet food. After having several teeth extracted due to dental disease, he has fully recovered and is truly thriving. Simon is a bit of a night owl who enjoys spending quality time with his human in a calm, low-key environment. He's okay with other cats but would really thrive as the only pet, where he won't have to compete for the love and attention he deserves.
