Hello, my name is Cannoli. I came to Good Home when a trusted rescuer brought me in off the streets of East New York and gave me a warm, safe place to sleep. Now I live in the Cat Lounge and I'm gaining confidence, enjoying all the treats, and learning how nice humans can be! I'm a little shy at first, but once I get used to my surroundings I enjoy exploring. When humans visit the Cat Lounge and offer me a Churu treat, I'm not afraid to ask for seconds. After a yummy treat, I'm open to gentle pats and or maybe playtime with the wand toy! When I'm not playing, snacking, or socializing I enjoy getting cozy in a bed or inside my "tiny house." Sometimes my brother, Oberon, joins me. I really like my brother and would love to go to a home with him, but I can certainly go alone as long as I have a feline friend to play and cuddle with. I'm braver with a cat friend and really enjoy chasing a ball or rolling around with a kitty playmate! I would be happiest in a quiet to moderately active home with patient, gentle people, who give me space to let my confidence grow and approach them on my terms. I am quite endearing and want to be included in a home's goings-on, I just need time to adjust and feel at ease. I haven't lived with a dog so I'm not sure if I'd like that and would probably do better in a home without young, active kids. I need to go to a home with another good-natured, playful cat - I wouldn't like being a singleton. I'd love an easy-going, patient home that adores me for the bright, observant, inquisitive girl I am.
