Meet Poppi, currently looking for her forever home! This sweet girl was hurting herself (chomping on her own tail from stress) in a shelter environment, until they ran out of space. She literally bled her way to freedom and an incredible community of animal advocates rallied around her to get her to safety. ​ Poppi is a sweet little adorable lady (44 lbs) who has equal parts chill for lots of naps at home surrounded by love, and spunk for play and fun with friends. She’s dog friendly and could enjoy a play buddy in her forever home but could also be happy being your one and only ride-or-die bestie. She’s the perfect combo of good snuggle buddy without too much cling-factor and knows how to match the energy of a room, snoozing while you type or read away. Give her some toys and she’ll happily entertain herself across the room. She’s responsive to both dog and human cues and very easy to motivate with treats for further training. ​ Poppi is great in the car and sits on command with the cutest prancing excited feet while she waits for a treat. ​ ​This petite girl has been through a lot and deserves a perfect forever home.
