About Mikey Come Meet

Mikey is part of an energetic group of siblings known as the M Litter—eight bright, lively Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog mixes who are all about fun and exploration at just 9 weeks old. Growing up surrounded by littermates in a caring foster home, Mikey is used to a blend of indoor resting and daytime adventures outside in a safe enclosure. Early crate training is in progress, and while he’s not leash trained yet, he’s already comfortable being left alone for a few hours and is getting the hang of the basics. Mikey is playful, social, and gets along well with other dogs; he’s developed a lively, friendly play style, and there’s no sign of prey drive so far. He hasn’t been around cats yet. He’d be happiest in an active home where he’s included in the action—think walks, games, and time outdoors. A fenced yard or reliable leashing is a must to keep him safe as he grows. Mikey can thrive in the city or in an apartment as long as those exercise needs are met. He’s ideal for adopters, whether first-timers or experienced, who are ready to guide a young pup through training and socialization. Puppies in this group do best with children age five and up. Mikey is ready for a home that will give him direction, patience, and lots of love. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
